As pioneers of the Blue system Lavazza have developed a high performance espresso machine which offers all of the theatre and quality of a traditional system with the simplicity of a pod instead of coffee grinds. The  Lavazza Blue pod system is simply illustrated below, one of the coffee pods (single or double) is put into specially adapted group handle, once this reaches the group head the pod is pierced by the upper and lower spikes and water infuses at pressure through the capsule. The high pressured infusion extracts rich flavour, amazing crema and a delightful aroma to deliver the perfect espresso – fresh every time.

Automatic double spout steam wands contain a sensor which cuts out when the milk reaches the ideal temperature, “Easy milk foam” from the left wand and “Easy milk warm” (heated to 70 degrees) from the right wand.

The “easy milk” system has been upgraded and improved with programmable capacitive buttons which can offer multi selections.

Fabulous multi selection pre-set products include: cappuccino; single/double espresso; start/stop for coffee dispensing; hot water; hot milk; start/stop steam flow; and single/double espresso

Available as group 1 and group 2 models

Alternatively, there is a group 2 model which enables Barista’s to take control of the milk with a manual steamer version.

The pre-programmed buttons are then set as: Espresso; Espresso x 2; Espresso Lungo; and Espresso Lungo x 2
